thanks for the size, and my brakes a juicy fives, but they came on my bike so im not quite sure of the actual cost, you could probably find a pair for about 100-150 though.

i've got people coming into my families bike shop with ones that are too long also.

you can buy the length too long but really it isn't a problem, just have it cut to the right length that you like it at most.

well my steer tube was 8.5 inches when i got the fork it has now been cut down to 6 inches but most after market forks have about 8-9 inches of steer tube

yeah. since most rims have the paint baked on hard, removing the paint can be hard, but just painting over it can still work. just tape up everything completely that you don't want colered, and do many small layers. gotta go

those are mavic 823 wheels laced with only the best dt-swiss spokes and novatec hubs. i'm running tubeless maxxis right now in the front and a tubeless is coming soon for the rear. i painted the rims gold myself

dude, that sucks. i hear ya though. before i can hit whistler, i have to get all new bearings installed, re-bleed my rear brake and then some. oh yeah, and install a new shock, true my wheels, and buy new rotors...haha.
